Tough loss

  • The New Underwood School District will continue to develop our emergency procedures throughout the school year, and we will have another informational ALiCE meeting with parent(s)/guardian(s) again this year. Students will be introduced to the topic of ALiCE at a grade-appropriate level with your students, and this will occur twice a month during the school day. The school board is working on updating our security around the building and will be an ongoing topic.

The newest podcast is out and features two high school students, and they talked about the activities council and high school. Please watch the videos as a way to get to know more about our school and students. If you have an idea for something you would like to see me cover during my podcast, please let me know.

Fruit sales have been handed out and are due back on November 12. The fruit will be delivered on December 17, so parents, please plan to be around that afternoon. The fruit sales are a significant fundraiser for the activities council and give you some possible gifts around the holiday season. Please contact any student in grades 7-12 to look at what we are offering this year.

It is hard to believe that we are in postseason play for many of our sports. The volleyball team lost in 4 sets against Philip. The team made a lot of progress throughout the year and were very fun to watch. I'm proud of the team and coaches for their dedication and effort throughout the school year. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me at the school through email or phone, as always GO TIGERS!
