Mr. George Seiler
Hello my name is George Seiler and I am the Superintendent/H.S. Principal of the New Underwood School District. This will be my second year at New Underwood. I was the 6-12 principal at the Kadoka Area School District from 2012-2015. Before I was at Kadoka I taught science at the Watertown School District at the high school. I taught Biology, Physical Science, Fundamentals of Physical Science, and science Credit Recovery classes.
I grew up and graduated from Timber Lake where my dad, Frank Seiler, was the superintendent for twenty one years. It was great being part of a small school, and having the opportunities to participate in the various extra curricular activities that we had available to us as students. I grew up in a large family with four sisters and one brother.
I love living in South Dakota and all that our great state has to offer. I like to hunt and fish and don't nearly do either one as much as I used to when I was in high school. I have a passion for sports and believe they are a great way for students to learn life lessons. Each year I try to go to a new sporting venue and have had the opportunity to see a lot in my sporting travels.
