Title I

Families gathered for a fun-filled event of reading and adventure at New Underwood Elementary School’s annual Title I Literacy Night. This year’s theme—“Camp-Read-A-Lot”—invited students and families to enjoy a night of literacy games, hands-on activities, special giveaways, and delicious s’mores.

Organized by Mrs. Labs, Title I Teacher and Director, with the support of New Underwood’s dedicated elementary teachers, the evening was a celebration of learning and community. Camp storyStory TimeTent ReadGone Fishin'Word WorkSmores!

A big thank you goes out to Mrs. Labs, the NU elementary staff, and the many families who came out to make the night a success. Events like “Camp-Read-A-Lot” continue to foster a love of reading in our students and strengthen the home-school connection that’s vital for academic success.
