On behalf of New Underwood School, we offer sincere condolences to the family of former teacher, Rosalie Stangle. School will be dismissed Wednesday, April 16 at 12:00 pm for the funeral service to be held in the gym at 1:00 pm. Middle and high school lunch will not be served. Thank you.

Mrs. Calvetti's Junior's finished their final career cluster project for their Career Exploration class. Most of the students focused on cluster 12, which is law and public safety. The students had a week to create board games, and today their classmates played the games!

One of our very own Kindergarten students, Harbour Kerr, was just crowned the winner of America's Little Miss State Pageant. She will now be advancing to the Nationals. Great work, Harbour!

Library time isn't all about reading! Some days we get our creative energy going in other ways. (They had testing this week, so a change in the way they used their brain was good for them.) These students made paper sculptures and constructed a basketball hoop out of junk.

During the student's library time, we try our best to find at least one book that they can read some if not all of the words. Well, this 1st grader was so proud of herself for reading both books, that we had to get a photo! It even made the Wall of Reading Fame in the Library!
