The 2023-2024 March Madness Book Battle is complete and was a huge success! The Championship Round was between Where Are All the Calves? by Scott Haynes and One Cool Friend by Toni Buzzeo, read by Taten & Sylver and Charliee & Lexi (4th graders). The book with the most votes was One Cool Friend! Thank you to the teachers for adjusting their daily schedule for the students to participate in this annual tradition and to Mrs. Heinert for making the daily introductions. Her enthusiasm for reading and the tradition is unprecedented. We would also like to thank those community members that took time out of their day to support our readers. Until next year...Happy Reading!

Not only is school about learning how to read, write and understand math but school also provides ample opportunities for students to learn responsibility and understand how it feels to help others. These boys had the job of library helper for kindergarten. They were tasked with the job of returning books to the library. They worked great as a team!
