On Wednesday, January 10th, school will be dismissed at 1:00 PM in order to hold funeral services for RJ Madsen. Mr. Madsen is a long-time community member and a graduate of N.U.H.S. He will be dearly missed. Our condolences to his family in this time of grief.

Students in the 8th grade Ag Exploration class recently learned about livestock feeding and feeds. They calculated protein percentages in feeds, visited FMG Feed & Seed to learn how to read feed labels, and created their own (edible) feed mixes.




Christmas Concert season is here once again! Students have been working hard to prepare another fun concert for you. Here are a few notes to remember for the concerts!
Elementary Christmas Concert - Monday, December 4th at 6:00 PM
Middle and High School Christmas Concert - Tuesday, December 12th at 6:00 PM
Students are to dress in their concert best. All clothing attire needs to be appropriate and must adhere to school dress code including No Hats.
Elementary music students meet their teachers in the little gym at 5:45. Please keep coats and hats with families. Students are not to be dropped off early.
5th Grade Band students should be in the band room by 5:30 ready to warm-up.
Middle and High School Choir students report to the little gym by 5:40 PM. - No phones, coats, hats, etc.

On October 20th, members of the National Honor Society chapter organized a 'Bowls for Bonnie' fundraising event for Bonnie Griffin, a long-time member of our New Underwood community. Through sales of soup, desserts, and 50/50 raffle tickets, the students raised $3,975.00 to help with her medical expenses. These funds were deposited into her medical fund account at 1st Interstate Bank in New Underwood.
