The seniors had the opportunity to meet Troy Heinert, a former state legislator today. They discussed the history of tribal governments and how they are implemented today, and even debated House Bill 1249, creating a task force for the welfare of Indian Children.

April's Tiger Way is YET! The concept of YET indicates a growth mindset. Nominations for YET were Jordan & Aaryn (Kindergarten), Olivia (1st grade), Arrow (2nd grade), Isaiah (3rd grade), Cruz (4th grade) and Jasmine (5th grade). The recipients of the award were Aaryn and Isaiah. Congratulations to all nominees! A special thank you to the NU Booster Club for sponsoring this event monthly.
