It is called Juana and Lucas written by Juana Medina.
The book is being read in class, and we are having discussions. There are also Spanish words embedded in the book the students are being exposed to.

1. High School Rodeo Team members, calendar sales have begun! Mrs. Rodenbaugh is in the library if you want to get your calendars early. Also, there are some early selling advantages. 1st member to sell a calendar (1st stub received), 1st member to sell 20 calendars, and 1st member to sell 50 calendars is eligible for additional prizes!
2. Parent Teacher Conferences have been moved to October 11th. There will be no Friday School on Friday, the eleventh.
